When you connect a social account (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) or submit a post to a collaboration, we collect data about your account and your submitted posts, including:
- Username, profile information, and account type
- Follower counts
- Engagement metrics of your posts (views/reach, likes, comments, shares)
- The posts you submit to Hyper collaborations
This data is obtained via:
- Official platform APIs, with your explicit authorization (e.g., the Instagram API, TikTok Display API, YouTube Data API)
- Post links you submit to us directly
We do not scrape social platforms and we do not purchase social data from third-party data providers. You can disconnect a platform at any time from your profile, which stops all further collection for that platform.
3.3 Automatically Collected Data
We automatically collect:
- Device information (IP address, browser type, OS)
- Usage data (pages visited, time spent, interactions)
- Log data and performance metrics

Mobile phone numbers collected by Hyper will only be used to provide requested services and campaign-related communications. Mobile information will not be shared, sold, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Hyper does not share, sell, rent, or otherwise provide mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
What we collect: your mobile number, your SMS consent status (including when and where you gave or withdrew it), and delivery metadata for messages we send.
Messages you may receive (recurring, only after you separately opt in): campaign assignments, creator visits, activity updates, performance reports, payouts, and account or support updates. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of using Hyper - signing in or accepting these policies does not opt you in to text messages. Our opt-in process is documented publicly at https://thehyper.co/sms-consent.
